Project Description

After suffering from a few injuries as an active runner, I started to look for a new exercise to incorporate into my life. I discovered yoga through a good friend and attended my first class the summer going into my senior year of high school. Since then I have been hooked, and try to practice yoga in some capacity everyday. Yoga has a different effect on everyone, and that is the beauty of the practice. For me, I am more self aware. I am able to recognize strengths, but most importantly recognize my weaknesses; there is a place of serenity, acceptance, and pride in one’s capabilities through the practice of yoga. I’m hoping through my practice, I can help influence others to grow through their’s.
