postures, backbends, forward bends and twists. In this class we emphasize
the universal principles of alignment, balance and playful enjoyment of
movement to cultivate a total revitalization of your health.
Vinyasa All Levels:
For those who are looking to experience a physically faster paced Vinyasa
class. With a balanced focus on cultivating strength and flexibilty, we
will move seamlesly from one posture to the next, holding each pose long
enough to discover and explore our alignment and breath.
Chakra Vinyasa:
Chakra Vinyasa yoga classes offer a balanced, flowing blend of posture flows, breathing exercises, and meditation to free up prana, the life force in the body. Chakras relate to core energy centers in the body and when they are out of balance we experience stress, aches, and pains as signals of the imbalance. The class sequences are designed to improve strength and flexibility while balancing energy, increasing your vitality, creativity, a sense of well being and promoting a feeling of wholeness.
All Levels Welcome!
Rock Your Asana:
An all levels power yoga class for students looking to have a great time in a consistent flow from pose to pose. Set to great music, including rock, reggae, hip hop, blues and world beats, each class offers an inspiring message and a deeply relaxing finish.
Em-Power Hour:
Experience the challenging and dynamic Power Vinyasa yoga in a one hour
format. If you are a busy yogi and still desire to reap the benefits of
a full yoga session, Power Hour is just for you. In this class, we use
a beautiful well-paced sequence to cover the most common basic and advanced
asanas of yoga. Discover the beauty of our Power Hour that is known for
its conciseness and abundance, intensity and bliss!
Mellow Vinyasa:
This mellow form of vinyasa yoga focuses on simple poses that flow from one to the
other at a very comfortable pace. Students are encouraged to go at their own pace,
taking time to focus on the breathing and meditation in their practice. The environment
is set to complement the quiet nature of this all level flow experience.
Yin Yoga:
Yin Yoga uses long, passive holds to work on the deep, dense connective tissues of the body - the tendons, ligaments and cartilage - which are difficult to energize and open. This deep, passive practice settles you into poses for 3-5 minutes, bringing you inward. This practice increases flexibility, especially in the spine and hips and is very restorative and rehabilitative for the joints and muscles. Psychologically, it connects you to your intuitive and creative self. It is an excellent complement to other yoga classes. This class is appropriate for men and women of all ages, fitness and flexibility levels. Restore balance with this complement to your active practice, sports or other exercise, and your yang-dominant lifestyle. Absolute beginners to yoga are also welcome!
Intro Meditation
/ Gentle Yoga:
This class will be a blend of gentle yoga poses and meditation techniques
to nurture the body's energy into balance and cultivate deep relaxation
to help release stress and let the body/mind rest deeply. This is
a wonderful combination for re-energizing the body and de-stressing
the mind.
Whether you have just recently started to meditate or are looking
to renew your commitment to your current meditation practice this
class will support you in deepening your practice and your sense
of balance and peace.
